Spicy Dill Veggie Dip
I created this dip as an alternative to fatty salad dressings and other premixed dips that were usually high in saturated fat and sodium. This is a healthier alternative and a delicious way to snack away on veggies instead of junk food. I’ve even used this recipe in place of mayonnaise for a quick and easy spicy tuna salad or sandwiches.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup low/nonfat small curd cottage cheese
- 1 cup low/nonfat sour cream
- 1 sprig of chopped fresh dill (roughly about a tsp, depending on your taste)
- Sushi blend spices (Often referred to as shichimi togarashi or Szechuan pepper blend - black pepper, red pepper, ground ginger, garlic powder, sesame seeds, and nori (sea weed) flakes)
- 1 tsp of dried onion
